Vanessa Tewilliager has been named assistant restaurant manager at the Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas

Originally from San Diego, Vanessa Tewilliager recently began her role as Assistant Restaurant Manager, where she will work alongside Chris Simmons to oversee restaurant operations at the Alila Marea Beach Resort. Having started her career in hospitality at just 16 years old, Tewilliager discovered her passion for the industry at an early age and has held many impressive positions in various hospitality groups and organizations, including as General Manager and Director of Training and of development for the Villagio Hospitality Group in Northern Virginia, where she helped open and manage various concepts including a brasserie, concert hall, grand banquet hall, food trucks, full service restaurant business, fast casual, casual and fine dining restaurants. Throughout his work, Tewilliager has enjoyed participating in local community festivals and organizing events for non-profit organizations. Tewilliager also brings extensive senior management experience to the property as general manager of Kona Grill and deputy manager of TD Bank.
