Accor, a world-leading hotel group with more than 400 hotels in India, the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, is expanding its luxury portfolio in the United Arab Emirates with the introduction of the Sofitel brand in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
The facility, slated to open in 2023, will become an iconic resort for the group in the region, the group said.
The group is working with Al Hamra, one of the leading real estate development and investment companies in Ras Al Khaimah, to expand its hotel portfolio. The group is focused on developing premier lifestyle destinations, including luxury and leisure hotel developments.

Hamra Golf Club, Al Hamra Marina and the Yacht Club. , Al Hamra International Conference and Exhibition Center (AHIECC) and Al Hamra Shopping Center. Once opened, the property will feature 300 keys including contemporary rooms, suites and villas with views of the gardens, golf course or sea. In addition, the hotel will feature six elegant restaurants serving excellent cuisine from around the world.
