These cookie shots are available in red velvet and chocolate chips.

But what does it all taste like? Let’s dig!

Cookie Shot – $ 8 (without alcohol), $ 15 (with alcohol)

We opted for the red velvet version. This one is much sweeter than the chocolate chip cookie we had on Halloween. Also, regular milk was a good choice.

The cookie is surprisingly sweet, and while the red velvet “flavor” isn’t very strong, it’s just a nice, sweet cookie. The white chocolate coating holds on well and the sprinkles are so cute, providing a delicate crunch.

It is a treat for children and adults. To make it an adult-only treat, opt for the liquor shots, which include Captain Morgan, RumChata, Grand Marnier, Baileys Irish Cream, and Peppermint Schnapps.

Mickey Poinsettia Cookie – $ 9.00

The poinsettia cookie is made with a vanilla shortbread, and it’s much better than the traditional shortbread cookie offered in the snowman cookie. It’s sweeter, butterier, and just better overall.

The sugar coating is delicious, but the poinsettias are super tough and made with a crunchy decorative icing.

Overall this is the best cookie we have had so far.

Mickey Mouse Snowman Cookie – $ 9.00

This is Disney’s traditional shortbread cookie with a chocolate coating on the top dyed black to make those iconic mouse ears.

It’s a real holiday treat. It’s not the best cookie on the table, but certainly no slouch either.

Mickey Christmas Cookie – $ 9.00

The Christmas cookie, featuring Mickey in a design inspired by a Santa hat, is made from the same basic shortbread as the snowman cookie.

Gingerbread Stout Cake – $ 12.00

This big cake is interesting. It’s not quite gingerbread, but it doesn’t really taste like stout.

It’s sweet and subtly spicy with a healthy dose of orange peel flavor, making it definitely a holiday spice cake. And as good as it is, there’s just something about it that leaves us wanting.

It’s very dense and surprisingly wetter than you might think for a cake brick like this. The icing on top is just that – the icing on the cake, as it doesn’t really need to be, but it definitely adds a nice sweet and creamy touch to the cake.

All in all, this is a good little dessert that is undoubtedly suitable for sharing between two or three people and which will go very well with a cup of apple cider or a hot chocolate, to rest by the fire in the lobby of the Grand Californian.
