Tourism in the Mexican Caribbean has exploded over the past year and with all that popularity comes the race to meet demand from hotel businesses. Hyatt is one such company and will soon be adding the new Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya to its list of properties in the area. The new adult-only all-inclusive luxury resort is set to open on December 1 this year and reservations can be made from that date.

Currently, there is already a Hyatt Zilara in Cancun and with over 11,000 reviews on Trip Advisor, it has 4.5 stars. This is also an adults-only all-inclusive resort that offers premium liquors and wines and 24-hour in-room dining with all-inclusive service. It has luxurious beachfront suites, six restaurants, five bars, beachfront restaurants and beach butlers to serve guests throughout the day.

If past successes are any indication of how future properties will be, then travelers visiting the Riviera Maya can expect the same attention to service and luxury from the newest Hyatt Zilara. The resort will consist of 12 different types of rooms and suites, of which there will be almost 300 in total. Each will have modern decor with the ambiance of a traditional hacienda and will have a spa-like bathroom and a balcony with breathtaking views.

The resort will also include 24-hour room service for all guests staying on the property.

Capri Grille will offer pasta and grilled meats, Tempest is where customers can go for Asian cuisine and sushi, El Comedor is a multicultural buffet with chef-led creations, and Social is the place to go for craft cocktails. Lola Beach will offer seafood dishes with a Latin twist and will have live DJs, and an even livelier atmosphere.

All-inclusive amenities don’t stop with accommodation and dining options at the new Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya. In fact, amenities extend beyond the resort walls to include a number of outdoor activities as well. Various non-motorized water and beach sports, water aerobics and yoga, an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court are just some of the activities you can enjoy on the resort’s property.

The Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya is located in the Playa del Carmen area on a secluded stretch of beautiful coastline. All that Playa del Carmen has to offer, including the famous 5th Avenue, is only about 10 km away. Travelers wishing to visit the brand new luxury resort can fly into Cancun International Airport and drive the 29 miles by car or taxi to get there.

The Mexican Caribbean has no shortage of luxury all-inclusive resorts, but each new property brings new ideas and concepts on how best to serve the guest. In a region where all-inclusives reign supreme, resorts need to stand out from the crowd, and the Hyatt brand does just that by offering fine dining and premium wines and spirits. If that kind of luxury is what you’re looking for, then the Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya, or one of the other Hyatt-branded Mexican Caribbean resorts, may be the hotel for you.
