Carnival Sails From Long Beach: First California Cruise in 17 Months
Carnival Cruise Line is the first cruise operator to resume navigation from California since the industry-wide hiatus of operations 17 months ago. Carnival Panorama departed on Saturday for a seven-day cruise from Long Beach. The week-long trip includes visits to three popular Mexican resorts, including Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, and Cabo San Lucas.
As part of the festivities, a #BackToFun celebration was held in the pre-departure cruise terminal where Carnival President Christine Duffy and Carnival Panorama captain Luca Lazzarino cut the ribbon to officially welcome the guests on board.
