Greenwood Mary Margaret Curry Newkirk 2024 Mary Margaret Curry Newkirk, age 73, of Greenwood, passed from this life unexpectedly Monday, September 30, 2024 while at home. Mary was born September 26, 1951, in Adair County, Kentucky, the daughter of James W. and Birddi Louise Giles Curry. On December 1, 2000, she married Jack L. Newkirk. Mrs. Newkirk worked as a bank teller for much of her working career and she also worked for Cummins Engine Company. After retirement, she was able to travel and enjoyed taking cruise trips with Jack to Alaska and Hawaii, just to name a few destinations.
