From lavish private villas to 24-hour personal butler service, this awe-inspiring paradise opens to the public on October 1.
Dubai has a long and rich history of building extravagant hotels and resorts, and as of October 1, Raffles The Palm Dubai will serve as the shining new jewel in the crown of the United Arab Emirates.
Spread across 25 acres of premier oceanfront properties along the island of Palm Jumeirah – the world’s largest man-made island and archipelago – the new Raffles Resort will join the five-star ranks of Atlantis and St. Regis who also call this stretch of sand home.
âWe are proud to announce the grand opening of Raffles The Palm Dubai, Raffles’ newest luxury resort in the United Arab Emirates,â said Ayman Gharib, Managing Director of Raffles The Palm Dubai.
With a total of 389 rooms, the smallest of which is still around 700 square feet, between elegant guestrooms, extravagant dining experiences and lavish amenities, including a private beach and award-winning Parisian spa Cinq Mondes, this will mark the first resort. of Raffles in the Middle East.
âThe five-star property invites guests to experience one of the world’s most exciting destinations through the graceful lens of a Raffles resort,â said Gharib. âRaffles The Palm Dubai will ensure that every stay is exceptional, with everyone arriving as a guest, leaving as a friend and returning as a family.
Here’s a look at some of the resort’s most lavish details.
Designed to showcase his classic furnishings comprising some 70,000 pieces of furniture from the traditional Italian workshops of Francesco Molon, guests will be dazzled by over 6,000 Swarovski crystal chandeliers.
Using gold and silver leaf, highly skilled craftsmen applied the finishing touches to each of the 389 rooms while stonemasons shaped the imported Portuguese marble. The resort’s exquisite furniture collection is maintained by a highly trained ‘furnishing master’ who works around the clock to ensure that every detail is perfect, polished and shiny at all times, according to a press release issued during the opening.
While each room and suite is adorned with antique furnishings with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf or the Dubai skyline, the resort is also home to a collection of villas ranging from 10,225 square feet to 11,302 square feet. For maximum privacy, the four-bedroom villas are located along the shore and offer access to their own private beach and gardens, as well as a built-in spa and private pool.
Of course, every guest who checks in at Raffles will be greeted as a VIP and will have access to the hotel’s famous 24-hour butler service. Butlers also serve as resident experts in the best that Dubai has to offer.
At the award-winning Cinq Mondes Parisian Spa, you can indulge in one of the 23 treatment rooms or spa suites. Sanctuary of wellness, the spa also has an indoor swimming pool as well as a selection of beauty treatments, massages, steam rooms, a yoga studio and a fully equipped gym.
There is no shortage of restaurants on the property, starting with Le Jardin which will serve as an all-day dining restaurant overlooking the property’s lush gardens and the Palm Jumeirah. At Matagi, a team of skilled chefs will prepare a menu of contemporary Japanese and Italian fusion.
At SOLA, music lovers can relax over food and drinks, while watching renowned artists perform live jazz throughout the week. Of course, no Raffles experience would be complete without Raffles Patisserie which will continue to serve upscale and classic French and Italian pastries.
